1 week lean basics
 

This is a practical 5 days training where the participants are not only trained in the most important TPS (Toyota Production System) tools through simulations but also in the lean philosophy and lean thinking of Toyota.

1 week lean JIDOKA

 

Lean JIDOKA is designed for Plant Management Teams.

The objectives of the training are as follows:

•To enable you to understand the underlying structure that supports a lean production system.

•To plan a way ahead for integrating Lean into your plant.

•To undertake a series of improvements in one of the cells and to then put in place a structure to sustain those improvements.

–Target improvement in key metric = 40%

•This training will not teach you the various lean tools that form the lean production system.  These are covered in the 1 week Lean Basics course.

And yes, you can apply lean thinking in horse training! 
 

As by coincidence Christine got the opportunity to meet a German horse trainer Fritz Stahlecker applying lean principles to train his horses in dressage on Olympic level. As every horse is different, there is no standard method which works for all horses. So you need to be able to do some small "experiments" to come to the root cause of any problem during training or riding. End goal is to have a motivated horse.

Horse lovers can be trained by Christine. All earnings are donated to Handicap International.
